I scoff and him when he says we have things in common. Would could we have in common? He lived in a rich District, and probably had some easy-breazy life where everything was handed to him. Well, everything except a shower. He had a point with the scary thing; he was pretty large, and not particularly friendly. But even if I was straight, I’m sure I wouldn’t see the attractive aspect. But I could feel the letdown coming, and I wanted to savor the moment before the crash. So I ran my hand around his chest as I circled him, talking quietly and sexily into his ear. “Oh, you are oh-so right,” I say, lacing the act on way too thick. “But I think I am the more attractive one,” I whisper, directly into his ear. “Though you do have a lot going for you,” I say as I back up a bit, looking him up and down as I did so.
She traces chest sensually and I can help but feel she’s playing me for a fool. I should say at least something otherwise she’ll think I’m an Upper Circle douche bag. Which I certainly am not. I glance around the room and see my spear sticking out of the dummies stomach, remembering why I began annoying this girl: because I enjoy it.
“Well I can’t help myself. My entire family were attractive beasts. Naturally born this way, sweetheart,” I wink as the sarcasm is thick on my voice. But now it’s my turn to let go of the fun and replace it with something foreboding. Perhaps something somewhat symbolising a warning.
“But let me get one thing straight. Life can fuck you about, hmm? And people. I don’t care if you fuck me about —playing your little flirtatiousness games and what not but that isn’t the real game. Sure you survived with you siblings or whatever but people in the arena are trying to kill you, ok? No one will be there to hold your hand when it gets rough. And if you think that by telling people how ‘scary’ you are will make them scared of you—you’re completely wrong. To be honest, they probably don’t give a flying fuck,” My voice is flat; void of emotion. A clear warning.
I cock my head to the side as a sinister smirk tweaks the corners of my lips, “I bet you’re wondering about me; my life. But you know what? It’s none of your god damn business. However, there is one thing you should know,” I lean in close to her ear, “I have absolutely nothing to lose.”
